Kings of Leon Interview | Caleb Followill

Kings of Leon became one of the most prominent artists on the planet in 2008 with the release of their fourth studio album, ‘Only By the Night.’ The record spawned three #1 singles, “Notion,” Use Somebody,” and one of the most memorable songs of that decade, “Sex On Fire.” (Anyone unfamiliar with that tune is probably still too young to possess a driver’s license.) Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz loves being back on the job after long COVID isolation

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Adam Duritz recently got a reminder about how much he loved his job fronting and leading Counting Crows. The singer and songwriter, who formed the band during 1991 in Berkeley, Calif., was called in to mitigate an interpersonal “miscommunication” dustup between some band members. The details don’t matter, and Duritz isn’t sharing them, anyway. And while it was “a huge hassle,” he says it was also “kind of great” -- especially after a year and a half of enforced time off for the group.
