Richmond County authorities are looking for a female accomplice in connection with an armed robbery and aggravated assault outside Augusta Mall last week. An 80-year-old Grovetown woman was robbed and assaulted in the parking lot near Macy’s. Authorities are still looking for a black male suspect. He was bald and was wearing a black shirt and tan pants.

One person is in custody and two more are being sought in connection with the weekend shooting deaths of three teens in Aiken. The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office says 17 year old Willie Garrett IV, 16 year old Ivan Perry and 16 year old Cameron Carroll were shot outside a home in the 200 block of Wadley Drive around 1:30 Sunday afternoon. Garrett and Perry died at the scene. Carroll died later at Augusta University Medical Center.

On Saturday, the Athens-Clarke County Police Department received a call from Children’s Hospital of Georgia in Augusta saying they were treating a child who had tested positive for exposure to drugs.

The Aiken Department of Public Safety is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a vehicle and two witnesses to the possible drowning incident on Saturday at Gem Lakes. At approximately 6:20 p.m. Saturday, Aiken Public Safety was assisted by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources with retrieving the body of a Black male from the recreational area of Gem Lakes in regarding to a possible drowning.
