Masks are no longer mandatory in the Natchez-Adams School District. A release from the district encourages people to continue to mask, but notes that it won’t be mandatory anymore inside school buildings and aboard buses. The district says leaders will continue to monitor COVID-19 case counts and may reinstate the mask mandate if the situation requires more precautions. Social distancing measures will stay in place, as well as additional cleaning of buses and district buildings and at-home isolation of students, faculty, and staff who test positive for COVID-19.
