Fennimore man arrested on multiple drug charges

FENNIMORE, Wis. — A Grant County man is facing multiple drug charges after authorities executed a search warrant on his home Wednesday. Law enforcement officials with the Richland-Iowa-Grant Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 12961 2nd St. During their search, authorities found methamphetamine, heroin, guns, and stolen property.

Sunday Morning Crash in Grant County

Two people were hurt in a rollover crash Sunday morning in Grant County. According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, 24 year old Irma Martinez of Montfort and her 2-year-old son were taken by ambulance to Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster for treatment of minor injuries. A report says that Martinez was traveling west on Highway 18 in Fennimore Township at about 9:25 a.m. Sunday when she failed to negotiate a curve near Military Road. Martinez overcorrected, and the vehicle rolled into a ditch. Martinez was cited with failure to have automobile insurance.

(PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, WI) You could be saving up to $0.15 per gallon on diesel in Prairie Du Chien, according to a recent price survey. The survey, which looked at prices across the Prairie Du Chien area on Tuesday, found that Casey's at 1031St Sthad the cheapest advertised diesel, at just $2.99 per gallon. By comparison, the most expensive station in the area was Kwik Trip at 211 S Marquette Rd, which listed a per-gallon price of $3.14.
