SALYERSVILLE – A Magoffin County grand jury released the following indictments on May 5, 2022:. Melissa Jenkins, 32, of Pricey Creek, Salyersville, is charged with first-degree assault (Class B felony) and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substance, first offense, aggravating circumstances (Class B misdemeanor). According to the indictment, on or about June 20, 2021, Jenkins allegedly intentionally caused physical injury to another person by means of a deadly weapon or a dangerous instrument, as well as operated a motor vehicle while under the influence.
