The trial of an Indiana man charged with several counts of rape and murder in three Toledo cold cases from 22 years ago began Monday in the Lucas County Common Pleas Court. Kenneth Marshall, 55, of Hammond, Ind. was arrested in January, 2021, after investigators said his DNA matched the DNA collected at the time of the attacks. Marshall is charged with aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, and six counts of first-degree felony rape with repeat violent offender specifications.
