And people at Beacon Field were witness to a silent protest of the recent Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. During the national anthem, a group of women dressed in “Handmaid’s Tale” style robes lined up in front of the stage. Greenfield’s annual Fourth of July Fireworks celebration was yesterday and the fun got underway much earlier in the day. Hundreds of people came out to Beacon Field for the beloved tradition. A couple says four dogs died in a house fire in Becket, Massachusetts. The Berkshire Eagle broke the story Friday evening, when a house on Benton Hill Road went up in flames.
