Caution Light Removal Heating Up Social Media

The flashing red caution lights at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Maish Road were removed Wednesday in Frankfort. Jason Forsythe is the street department superintendent and says the intersection will remain a four-way stop with stop signs. He says they have ordered 4 new flashing stop signs like others that have been installed around town. Those cost 1500 dollars each and will take at least a month to get in. Lafayette water sample tests positive for E. coli

Indiana man gets 120 years for fatally shooting girlfriend and their 3-year-old daughter

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (TCD) -- A 28-year-old man will spend the rest of his life behind bars for killing his 22-year-old girlfriend and their 3-year-old daughter in 2021. According to the Lafayette Journal & Courier, a Tippecanoe Circuit Court judge sentenced Devonta Roberts to 120 years in connection with the deaths of Victoria Moore and their little girl, Datoria Roberts. He reportedly received credit for good behavior, but Roberts will still be required to spend 90 years in prison.
