VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Vincennes man who had active warrants in Knox and Daviess counties is in custody and facing a batch of new charges related to drug activity. 24-year-old Roger J. Fleetwood was located by police on Monday at a residence in the 200 block of Hart Street. Vincennes Police Officers had reportedly been alerted that a person with active warrants could be in the residence and possibly involved in drug activity.

(OLNEY) The Beautiful Lives Project will host a “golf fundraiser” this Friday at the Richland Golf Club in Olney. With all proceeds to help fund enticing events for people with disabilities, the cost is $75 per person or $300 for a foursome. As of yesterday, there was still room for 12 more teams of four or 48 golfers total. It’s lunch at 12:00 and tee time at 1:00, all for a great cause. (OLNEY) The Olney Public Library is preparing for its Summer Reading Program 2022 with registration to begin a week from today, on Wednesday, May 25th. Combining adventure, camp, and skill development, the “Read Beyond the Beaten Path” program begins an Animal Show on Wednesday, June 1st, followed by four consecutive Wednesday afternoon story times at the Library. Then a Dinosaur Show July 6th in the Olney City Park and a Summer Reading Party July 13th, also in the Olney City Park.
