Hiker rescued after fall on Grandad Bluff

Rescue crews worked for about two hours on Friday night to rescue a hiker who had fallen in the Grandad Bluff area. The hiker reportedly fell about 40 feet below the observation area on top of the bluff, and was brought by fire crews from a steep hillside to a parking area on Bliss Road before being transported by Tri-State Ambulance to a hospital.

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin — With the opportunity to eliminate the La Crosse Loggers Saturday night, the Duluth Huskies searched for its third straight win.
