APPANOOSE COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG) - The Appanoose County Sheriff’s Office have ended their nearly 4 day-long manhunt. Officials say that Tuesday at approximately 3:50 pm, the Appanoose County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant in the 500 block of W. Washington St in Centerville, resulting in the arrest of David Boley.

Law enforcement searching for 'armed and dangerous' man in Appanoose County

APPANOOSE COUNTY, Iowa — The Appanoose County Sheriff's Office is on the lookout for a man they say assaulted their deputy sheriff. David Boley, 33, is armed and dangerous and should not be approached, the sheriff's office said. In a release, they say Deputy Sheriff Gary Buckallew responded to a report of a suspicious person in Moravia on Saturday. That suspect was later identified as Boley, who was found to have a gun on him.

Four Injured In Two Accidents In The Area Counties

Two accidents in the area counties resulted in four with minor or moderate injuries over the weekend. Saturday at about 1:00 pm an accident on Missouri 129 near Green City, a two-vehicle accident left one driver with moderate injuries. State Troopers report 25-year-old Jerold M Robertson of Branson was taken to Sullivan County Memorial Hospital following the accident. The report states Roberston was attempting to pass a tractor, driven by 53-year-old Timothy S Harrelson of Milan. Harrelson had slowed to make a left turn and the tractor was struck by the Robertson vehicle. Harrelson was not injured.
