Dewey Beach police have arrested a Townsend woman for resisting arrest after she allegedly bit an officer while in custody. About 12:15 a.m., July 2, officers were attempted to arrest a man in reference to an altercation when Kylee B. Pitts, 25, allegedly became disorderly and refused to comply with officers’ commands. When police attempted to arrest Pitts, she resisted and allegedly assaulted an officer. She continued to resist arrest as officers attempted to put her in a transport van, police said.
