Are we pleasing God?

I am getting calls from people who need understanding about the signs of the times and how to live through all the wickedness going on around us. How do we please God in all the tragedy? The Bible has all the instructions we need to follow. They will bring us through whatever is coming. Remember, our Lord knows about the unknowns that come our way. Seems like every day a new tragedy happens. Gloom and doom is everywhere, but we must not allow ourselves to fall into the trap of the media. Let’s purpose in our heart to see all this from God’s perspective. It's found in His Word!

Stay Balanced

When we get overwhelmed with life, we must be careful who we are around. Jesus says be yoked with Him. The word yoked means a beam of balance. No other person can bring us balance in life but Jesus! Jesus tells us to come and release our burdens to Him. He is our beam of balance in any situation. When we release our burdens to Him, they will not stand in the way of our entering into true worship. When we are yoked with Jesus, we are close to Him. We will learn to hear His voice and know that it is Him speaking to us. When God is with us and for us, there is no safer or better place to find help and comfort than with Him. That is true rest!
