Pickford boys win Munising Invitational

MUNISING — Pickford added another track and field meet title to its season accomplishments Friday. The Pickford boys won the Munising Lions Invitational, an evening meet held under the lights at Mustang Stadium. The Panthers prevailed with 77 points to lead 10 schools, while Munising was runner-up with 54, Manistique was third with 29, Newberry was fourth with 27 and Stephenson capped the top five with 25 points.

Mid Peninsula to reinstate varsity football program

Altran to bring trolley back to Munising

MUNISING, Mich. (WLUC) - Altran is bringing a trolley back to Munising for the tourism season. Beginning June 1 the trolley will offer several shuttles. The in-town shuttle will ride around downtown Munising. Other shuttles will stop in Grand Marais, Au Train Beach, Chatham, and Van Meer. In-town fares will vary by location and pick-up.
