If you are looking for something fun to do on the 4th of July, Maine has you covered with many fun for all ages events going on. Augusta, Maine Police Searching For Possible Missing Family

According to a press release from the Augusta Police Department, police are looking for the public's help in locating several members of the Al Hilfi family. The press release explains that, on Friday, July 1st, police responded Glenridge Drive for a report of suspicious activity. However, police now believe they are dealing with a series of missing persons. The missing include a young woman and four children.

GORHAM and ROCKPORT — Marylee Burt Dodge, 91, died peacefully June 16, 2022, in the company of her family at her home in Gorham. Born January 8, 1931, in Hartford, Connecticut to Leo W. and Ottilie B. Burt, Marylee spent her early life in West Hartford, Connecticut . She attended the Sedgewick School and Oxford School in West Hartford, graduating from Oxford School in 1948. She then attended Smith College where she gained her undergraduate degree in history in 1952. After graduating from Smith, Marylee took a job as a systems service representative for I.B.M. in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Police searching for multiple missing people in Augusta

AUGUSTA, Maine — The Augusta Police Department responded to a report of suspicious activity on Glenwood Drive at 1:39 a.m. on Friday, authorities say. A news release from Augusta Police Department Deputy Chief Kevin D. Lully stated authorities now believe there may be multiple missing persons, a family including one adult and four children.

Police remove processed marijuana, marijuana plants from retail marijuana store after they say store continued to operate on revoked license

FAIRFIELD, Maine (WABI) - Fairfield Police say they removed and destroyed 126 pounds of processed Marijuana and 185 marijuana plants from a retail marijuana store Wednesday. Police say they obtained a search warrant for Yezi Local Craft Marijuana Retail Store after they say the store continued to operate after their state license had been revoked.

Parades in Maine July 3rd and 4th

Maine will celebrate the Fourth of July with many parades. There will be boat parades, bike parades, dog parades, doll carriage parades, and even ATV parades.
