Klamath Community College open house to present program demos, career fair

KLAMATH FALLS — Klamath Community College will host an open house on Friday, May 20, providing an array of program demonstrations, a career fair with numerous employers on-site and one-on-one assistance for job seekers. Taking place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the day will include guided tours of KCC facilities with demonstrations for various labs, classrooms, programs, apprenticeship opportunities, and equipment – including opportunities for students to try KCC’s full-motion flight, and commercial truck simulators. Activities will be both inside and outside providing insight into programs such as auto/diesel, commercial drivers, fire science, health information, accounting business management, and more.

Revis, Patricia Mae

On May 15, 2022, surrounded by her children, Patricia Mae Revis, 89, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior and was reunited with her beloved husband, Max Revis. "Patsy" was born to Joe Dean and Dora L. Tiffee on May 6, 1933 in Zoe Oklahoma. The Tiffee's moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon in 1940. By 1948, Patsy had fallen in love with her brother Jim's best friend, Max. Inseparable high school sweethearts, Max and Pat married on September 16, 1950 and in 1951, she graduated from K.U.H.S. Their devoted love and devout faith in Jesus kept their marriage vibrant for 66 years as they raised six children, enjoyed 13 grandchildren, and rejoiced in having 16 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. This large and loving family is a testimony of God's faithfulness to those who believe. Patricia's survivors include daughters Linda Schrieber (Gene), Marilyn Mordwinow (Dave), Rhonda Drennan (Denny), Barbara Carter (Brian), Teresa Miles (John), son Max Jr. (Pamela), her sister-in-law Lois Revis, her very special grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as lifelong friends Barbara Foltz Hanson and Marian Paugh Carter. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, May 21, 11:00 a.m. at Klamath Memorial. A special thank you to the Klamath Hospice team. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Klamath Hospice.

Klamath Film will present an afternoon Memorial Day program at the Ross Ragland Theater on Sunday, May 29th at 1pm. The program will consist of a short film about our local veteran population and the Veterans Enrichment Center in Klamath Falls.
