ELMIRA, NY (WENY) -- The Moving Wall, a half-size traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC is coming to Elmira at the end of June. The Wall will be on continuous public display at Eldridge Park beginning at 5PM on Wednesday, June 29th until 4PM on Monday, July 4th. The Wall will be escorted to the park by the Horseheads American Legion Riders, with a motorcycle escort from Horseheads to Elmira, with a stop for a brief service at Woodlawn National Cemetery.

5 Hospitalized Following Annapolis Accident Involving Police Cruiser, Overturned Ambulance with Patient Onboard

Five people were hospitalized after an accident involving a police vehicle and an overturned Naval Academy ambulance occured in Annapolis. The Anne Arundel County Police cruiser and ambulance were involved in the accident that occurred on Jennifer Road at 7:16am, on June 24, police said. A patient and three fire department personnel, who were inside of the ambulance at the time of the crash, and the officer behind the wheel of the cruiser, were all evaluated at a nearby hospital.
