CHICAGO — Chicago residents are able to purchase residential parking permits in only seven of the city’s 50 ward offices, several aldermen were surprised to learn. The City Clerk’s office sells the bulk of parking permits for the thousands of residential parking districts across the city, but seven aldermen have worked with the office to purchase the machinery needed to sell the permits at their ward offices.

(CHICAGO, IL) Your choice of gas station could be costing you as much as $1.00 if you’re buying diesel in Chicago, according to a recent price survey. The title of cheapest station in the Chicago area went to GoLo at 2340 W 52Nd St, according to a Tuesday survey by GasBuddy. Diesel was listed there at just $3.19 per gallon. The most expensive station in the city was $4.19, at Mobil at 1106 W Fullerton Ave, the survey found:
