Sanford police searching for missing family of three

SANFORD, Maine — Sanford police are searching for a family of three who has not been seen since Wednesday. Officials say 28-year-old Jill Sidebotham, 2-year-old Lydia Hansen and 38-year old Nicholas Hansen may have been camping in the Phillips area and were due back on Thursday. Family and friends have not yet heard from them.

Sanford family missing since June 29, last seen in Rumford

SANFORD (WGME) -- Police in Sanford are asking the public's help in locating a family that was last seen in the Rumford area on Wednesday, June 29. Police say they could possibly be in the Phillips area camping. They were due back on Thursday but friends and family have not heard from them.

Mexico man injured in Carthage car crash

CARTHAGE (WGME) -- A Mexico man was injured after the van he was driving ran off the road in Carthage Friday afternoon. 50-year-old Sean McKenzie was driving a 2005 Chevy Astro van west on Route 2 around 2:45 p.m. when he crossed the center line and ran off the road.

Augusta, Maine Police Searching For Possible Missing Family

According to a press release from the Augusta Police Department, police are looking for the public's help in locating several members of the Al Hilfi family. The press release explains that, on Friday, July 1st, police responded Glenridge Drive for a report of suspicious activity. However, police now believe they are dealing with a series of missing persons. The missing include a young woman and four children.

Police searching for multiple missing people in Augusta

AUGUSTA, Maine — The Augusta Police Department responded to a report of suspicious activity on Glenwood Drive at 1:39 a.m. on Friday, authorities say. A news release from Augusta Police Department Deputy Chief Kevin D. Lully stated authorities now believe there may be multiple missing persons, a family including one adult and four children.

Police remove processed marijuana, marijuana plants from retail marijuana store after they say store continued to operate on revoked license

FAIRFIELD, Maine (WABI) - Fairfield Police say they removed and destroyed 126 pounds of processed Marijuana and 185 marijuana plants from a retail marijuana store Wednesday. Police say they obtained a search warrant for Yezi Local Craft Marijuana Retail Store after they say the store continued to operate after their state license had been revoked.

Parades in Maine July 3rd and 4th

Police Destroy 126 Pounds of Marijuana at Unlicensed Fairfield Store

According to the Kennebec Journal, Fairfield Police confiscated nearly 200 marijuana plants and destroyed over 125 pounds of processed marijuana on Wednesday. The Kennebec Journal reports that Fairfield Police executed a search warrant this week at the YEZI Local Craft Marijuana Retail Store. The store is on Norridgewock Road in the vicinity of Fairfield Center and is a medical dispensary. However, the store was continuing to operate despite the fact that the business's license had been revoked.
