John Michael Simon ‘Mike’ Brown, 75, of Lenox

Mike was born to John and Simone Brown in Paris France in 1947. He spent his childhood in different European countries as his father was posted in the foreign service. Mike was an athlete throughout his high school years and especially loved watching and playing basketball. He met his wife Nancy during his time in the Air Force while stationed in Waikiki, Hawaii. They were married for more than 40 years until Nancy’s passing in 2020. They built a life together based on mutual respect, love, and laughter.

PITTSFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - A Berkshire County man has one million reasons to smile after his wife made a recent errand run. Mass. Lottery spokesperson Christian Teja said that William Cassavant of Pittsfield asked his wife to pick up two scratch tickets while she was running errands. She stopped at Lipton Mart in Pittsfield, but the store was closed for five minutes. She decided to wait for it to reopen, bought “$4,000,000 Brilliant Titanium” tickets, and brought them home.

Vehicle Crashes Into Pole, Mill Village Road Closed In Deerfield

(Deerfield, MA) Early Saturday morning the Deerfield Police department has reported that a vehicle crashed into a utility pole on Mill Village Road in Deerfield.The crash caused wires to fall onto the vehicle, but all occupants were able to make it out with minor injuries.
