PITTSYLVANIA Co, Va. (WDBJ) - One person is dead after a shooting in Pittsylvania County. According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to a noise complaint at a home in the 500 block of Deerwood Dr. in Blairs, VA. Deputies found a large gathering and heard gunshots. One person was found shot at the scene and taken to Sovah Health in Danville, and pronounced dead.

The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a shooting that led to the death of an individual in the early morning hours Sunday. Deputies were called to 543 Deerwood Drive in Blairs about 12:43 a.m. in response to a noise complaint. When they arrived, the deputies found a large gathering and heard multiple gun shots.
