TPSO seeks help finding ATV theft suspect

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect responsible for the theft of an ATV. Chief Jimmy Travis reports on May 23, 2022, detectives began investigating a theft of an ATV that occurred in Independence. During the investigation, detectives were able to obtain surveillance footage of an unknown black male removing a 2020 Honda Rancher from the carport of the victim.

TPSO seeks help finding suspects in theft of exercise equipment worth over $1k

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect in a theft occurring earlier this month. Chief Jimmy Travis reports on May 24, 2022, detectives began an investigation into a theft that occurred on two different occasions on Vitrano Lane in Independence. The victim stated on May 4, 2022 and then again on May 14, 2022, an unknown subject stole over one thousand dollars worth of exercise equipment, (free weights, bars, benches), one Hobart welding machine, and one trolling motor with a foot pedal.

A Tylertown man has been arrested for attempted murder after a shooting victim identified him as the man who shot him. Justin Hall, of Brookhaven, survived a gunshot to the head Thursday, March 3. Ronnie loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Over the years, he spent countless hours in the woods, creeks, rivers and ponds all around the Mt. Hermon area.
