Countdown to Kickoff: No. 28 Maceo Donald

East Carolina has reached the double-digit phase of days until kickoff when the Pirates take on the Appalachian State Mountaineers on Thursday, Sept. 2 at 7:30 p.m. ET inside Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte to open head coach Mike Houston's third season at the helm of the program. Truist Field Set To Host Annual Chief’s Cup Baseball Game On September 11th

Union Academy agriculture teams win four state titles at 4-H contest

MONROE – The UA 4-H Livestock Skillathon and Quiz Bowl Teams competed at the NC State 4-H Livestock Championships on July 29 to 31 in Raleigh. Members of each team had to correctly identify and classify breeds of livestock, feeds, equipment and meats along with completing quality assurance and animal health and genetics problems.

Duke’s problem was that it had a ‘losing mentality’ in football. That’s changing.

While Thursday marked Duke’s first official practice of the new football season, the work needed to prevent a repeat of last season’s 2-9 record began months ago. “I thought our spirit and energy and attitude is what it’s been since last January, very willing to do what it takes to be successful,” Duke coach David Cutcliffe said following Thursday’s morning practice. “Do we have a lot of work to do? COVID-19 Screening Test for Preparing The First Training Camp Carolina Panthers

CHARLOTTE, NC - The first training camp of the Carolina Panthers began on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. The Panthers and the coaches were excited to get back on the field. "Guys looked good; they're moving around, guys know what to do. We're not a really competitive team on the first and second day as we put pads on. We'll be a little more tomorrow. Really, trying to ramp up this first week so when we hit pads next week we can go and not have to think and be in great shape. Popular Latin restaurant group is opening 2 locations at Bank of America Stadium

Bank of America Stadium’s food offerings are getting a bit of a shake-up this year. Sabor Latin Street Grill, a chain with 17 locations throughout the Charlotte area, will have a stall at the about 75,000-seat stadium this fall. Raydal Hospitality Group, which owns Sabor, will also open La Caseta pupusa stand at the stadium, the city’s third location.
