North Carolina’s 2023 basketball recruiting class isn’t short on talent. Vertical Academy’s Mikey Williams and Combine Academy’s Robert Dillingham are both nationally recognized five-star recruits. Covenant Day’s Aden Holloway and Lake Norman Christian’s Trey Green drew high Division I interest and offers before transferring to out-of-state prep schools this summer.

CHARLOTTE, NC - The NBA finally revealed the full schedule for the MGM Resort NBA Summer League 2021. The Charlotte Hornets will kickoff the tournament on the first day. The MGM Resorts NBA Summer League 2021 will take place on August 8-17 at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. In this summer league: the Charlotte Hornets will kickoff the tournament on the first day Sunday, Aug. 8, at 6 p.m. ET. The Hornets will be up against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Baha Mar Hoops Bracket Announced; 49ers Open with Toledo

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte 49ers will face Toledo in the first round of Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship during Thanksgiving week in The Bahamas. Baha Mar, the leading resort destination in The Bahamas, revealed 19 NCAA men's and women's teams who will participate in the newly announced Baha Mar Hoops event, making it the largest early season event in all of college basketball. The weeklong slate of games will be played across three events, Nov. 22-27 at the Baha Mar Convention Center.

DENVER – Lincoln Charter has named Kim Lusk as its athletic director, following the tenure of Daniel Schmitz. Lusk brings experience as an assistant athletic director, head women’s basketball coach and sports information director all at Division II St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, N.Y.
