West Nottingham to host Game Breaker LAX camps

COLORA — The Game Breaker lacrosse camp is coming to Cecil County. The youth boys lacrosse camp, recognized as one of the best lacrosse organizations for youth lacrosse instructions, will be holding two camps at West Nottingham Academy. The camp works with all skill levels and has done much to advance the game of lacrosse around the nation in recent years. The camp will work with athletes on all aspects of the game both offense and defense. The first camp is July 5-8. Players will have another opportunity at West Nottingham July 31-Aug. 3. The camp is open to boys ages 8-16 and registration is open at. Interested parties can contact 1-800-944-7112.

A serial burner is facing charges in Maryland after being busted for allegedly setting a Mustang on fire that belonged to his estranged wife, authorities announced. A volunteer firefighter in Maryland was killed in Ocean City while attending the annual Maryland State Fireman’s Association convention, officials confirmed. Elkton resident Noah Day, 22, a lieutenant with the North East Fire Company in Cecil County, was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the Coastal Highway on Monday, June 20.

Cecil County man killed after being struck by car in Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md. (WBFF) — A Cecil County was killed late Monday in Ocean City after he was struck by a car along Coastal Highway, Ocean City police said. Police said Noah Day, 22, of Elkton, was not walking in a marked crosswalk when he was hit near 46th Street around 9:30 p.m. Monday. Day was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, a 44-year-old man from nearby Berlin, remained on the scene, police said.
