PALESTINE, Texas (KLTV) - The Palestine Police Department reports a man was shot and killed early Saturday morning. Officers found a man with gunshot wounds outside a residence in the 1400 block of N. Jackson Just before 4 a.m. The man was taken to Palestine Regional ER where he died.

PALESTINE, Texas (KTRE) - A two-vehicle crash Wednesday night left a motorcyclist dead near Palestine. According to a preliminary report by the Texas Department of Public Safety, at 6:03 p.m., troopers were called to a two-vehicle crash on US Highway 287 approximately one mile south of Palestine in Anderson county.

A wild stallion has been relocated to a sanctuary because he’s become aggressive and very food motivated. Delegate's Pride—also known as “Chip”—was removed from his home on Assateague Island in Maryland. The 12-year-old wild horse had become more confrontational and obsessed with raiding human food.
