Woodward Township, Pa. —Police said a woman who had just stolen items from a store, struck a person as they attempted to give her a ride home. Desirea Jordan, 22, of Lock Haven was charged with retail theft and harassment on June 17 for the incident that occurred near the 20 block of Woodward Avenue in Dunnstown. Williamsport City Lions pull off 4-2 win at Catarachos Friday night

Williamsport, Pa. —Tevin Beadle scored two goals and assisted on a third as Williamsport City Lions FC downed Catarachos 4-2 Friday night to snap a road draw streak. Williamsport tallied first when Gabe Leach put a ball directly into the box off a corner. Beadle took the shot, which was stopped, but fell to Will Poirier for the finish. Catarachos leveled at one and two goals, but in each instance, Williamsport was able to respond. Beadle scored in the second half to give Williamsport a two-goal advantage it was able to hold for the finish. LOCK HAVEN, PA – Matthew Slota, 33, is incarcerated in Lycoming County Prison after Tiadaghton Valley Regional Police arrested the Lock Haven man on Tuesday for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine. TVRP officers allegedly arranged for Slota to deliver $300 worth of methamphetamine to a campground in Platt Township using cell phone messages obtained as part of another investigation.

Wood carvers on display at 40 & 8 Hooskow event
