Ouachita Baptist picks up assistant coach from SouthArk

Ouachita Baptist University women's basketball head coach Robert Dallimore has announced the hiring of Nate Davis as the program's new assistant coach. Davis comes to Ouachita with five seasons of head coaching experience, most recently as head men's and women's basketball coach at South Arkansas Community College in El Dorado for the past three seasons (2019-22). He was also the head boy’s basketball coach at Hermitage (Arkansas) High School for two years (2017-19).

Danny Lunsford, 82, of Rison went to be with his Lord on June 23, 2022. He was born October 22, 1939, in Rison to the late Roy Jewell Lunsford and Mary Melinda Lunsford. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James, J.D., Willie, Jimmy, Joe, Wayne, and J.W., his sisters Reba, Pam and Lorine and his son Michael Lunsford.

Daymon Wright

Earlis Daymon Wright, 86, of Rison, passed into eternity on June 4, 2022, at Greeenhouse Cottages in Rison with his daughter Kathy at his bedside. He was born on August 11, 1935. He was the youngest of six children born to Clyde and Esker (Adair) Wright and was the last surviving sibling.
