BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Alabama men's basketball team will host Baylor in the ninth annual Big 12/SEC Challenge, the Southeastern Conference announced on Wednesday. Anniston man who sued over medical treatment while incarcerated dies

An Anniston man who was suing medical providers after he became paralyzed while incarcerated in Alabama has died. Patrick Neal, 27, died Tuesday, according to Neal’s attorney, Bruce Downey, and sister, Terilaine Wheeler. Neal had been at UAB in Birmingham, where doctors found a tumor on his spine, Wheeler, told APR in May.

Alabama Men’s Basketball Forward James Rojas Suffers Torn ACL

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama men's basketball player James Rojas suffered a torn ACL in his left knee, head coach Nate Oats confirmed with an announcement Tuesday afternoon. The 6-8, 220-pound senior forward underwent successful surgery on his left knee Tuesday morning and is expected to make a full recovery with the anticipation of playing in the 2021-22 Southeastern Conference season.
