PEORIA (Heart of Illinois ABC) - A man accused of murder is in the Peoria County jail awaiting bond as of Saturday afternoon. Around 11:30 PM March 8, Peoria Police responded to W. Beverly for a ShotSpotter alert. That’s where they found Timothy Foreman, Jr., 40, laying in the roadway with a gunshot wound, pronounced dead at the scene. It marked the city’s fifth homicide of the year. During the investigation, detectives identified Chazier Johnson, 22, as a suspect.
