Update: Victim Identified in Fatal Geneva Motorcycle-Car Accident

UPDATE: State Police have released the names of the people involved in Monday’s car-versus-motorcycle accident that happened on County Road 6 in Geneva. 51-year old Lester Fillingham, of Geneva, was killed when he was struck by a southbound vehicle driven by 22-year old Ashley Campbell, also of Geneva. Troopers are still trying to determine why Campbell’s car crossed over into the northbound lane.

State police release information on serious crash in Harrison Valley

HARRISON VALLEY, Pa. - According to Pennsylvania State Police, 41-year-old, Jonathan E. Schave of Oklahoma was operating a 2016 Volvo D13 Semi truck along W. Main Street in Harrison Township when he lost control of his vehicle and traveled off the westbound side of the roadway and impacted a residence. The semi truck came to a final rest sitting inside the home.

Truck driver injured when vehicle hits home in Harrison Valley

ULYSSES — The driver of a tractor trailer was seriously injured when the vehicle struck a house on Route 49 in Potter County Thursday. The truck hit the home, located in the 100 block of West Main Street in Harrison Valley, at around 10:57 a.m. Reports indicated the tractor trailer may have left the road and struck bags of soil at the nearby hardware store before traveling on to hit the home.

Wayne School Bus Involved in Accident

None of the students on board a Wayne Central School bus were injured Friday morning after it was involved in an accident in the town of Walworth. The bus was heading north on State Route 350 when it pulled off on the side of the road to let traffic pass. Sheriff’s Deputies say that’s when a car driven by 26-year old Morgan Bates, of Walworth, collided with the back of the bus. Nurses from the school responded to the scene and checked over all the children. Bates was taken to Strong for injuries she suffered.

GoFundMe Set Up For Schuyler County House Fire Victims

A GoFundMe page has been set up for a Beaver Dams mother and her daughters after their house was destroyed by fire last Wednesday morning. The fire at Jordan Easling’s Beaver Dams Moreland Road home broke out at around 5:30. She and her daughters and pets were able to make it out safely but all of the home’s contents were a complete loss.

Update: The driver of the SUV is identified as Delia G. McCutcheon, age 80 of Westfield, PA. Her passenger is identified as Harold S. McCutcheon, age 79 of Westfield, PA. The driver of the pick-up is identified as David D. Diorio, age 51 of Richford, NY and the driver of the tractor trailer is identifed as Ihor Solotwa, age 62 of Ontario, Canada.
