TELL CITY (06/21/21) — Tell City Police say 21 people have been arrested in a roundup of suspects in multiple drug-related investigations targeting the distribution of meth and other controlled-substances. The arrests come as part of a five-year-long initiative to curb the spread of drugs into the Perry County area, resulting in 130-thousand dollars in federal grant money which aided in some 150 drug-related investigations.

Man stabbed in Edmonson County has ‘life-threatening’ injuries

BROWNSVILLE, Ky. – Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Tuesday afternoon stabbing in which one man sustained “life-threatening” injuries, Sheriff Shane Doyle said. The man, whose name has not been released, was taken to Warren County and then flown by medical helicopter to an area trauma center, Doyle said.

The Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) has released arrest and other information related to the Redneck Rave held at Blue Holler Off Road Park near Mammoth Cave. The gathering, which drew several thousand people, was held between Wednesday and Sunday of last week and resulted in 48 participants being charged with various offense, but only 14 arrests. Six of the 14 arrests were for felony charges, including assault, strangulation and wanton endangerment.

Man Faces Charges After Break-In Attempt And Police Pursuit

GARFIELD (06/21/21) — A Cloverport man is facing numerous charges after a report of an attempted break-in led to a police pursuit north of Garfield, near Lodiburg, Monday night. According to the Breckinridge County Sheriff’s Department, units were called to the 12-thousand block of West Highway 86 where a vehicle connected to the incident fled from deputies with a pursuit ending in the 10-thousand block when the vehicle stopped but a male driver initially refused to comply with officer commands. 45-year-old Ronald Henderson was taken into custody. A female was transported by ambulance for injuries believed to have been suffered in an altercation. Henderson was lodged in the Breckinridge County Detention Center on charges including assault- 1st degree (domestic violence), two counts of wanton endangerment, fleeing/evading police and resisting arrest among others. An investigation is on-going.
