Standout Baseball Season For Shawn Steuerer At Johns Hopkins

Lifelong Wellington resident Shawn Steuerer had a dream season this past spring while attending college at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He played third base for the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays baseball team. As a freshman, he put together a season that is normally associated with an all-conference upperclassman.

Wellington Town Center Construction & Facilities Update

Construction continues on the Town Center project located at Wellington’s Town Center, 12300 Forest Hill Blvd. Construction of the new parking area between Village Hall and the Community Center is well underway. Beginning July 1st the contractor will start working on the next phase of the project, which includes the expansion of the Amphitheater, renovations and expansion of Scott’s Place Park, and the addition of green space in the adjacent area. The project is expected to be completed in March of 2023.
