Gallatin Man Injured In Early Friday Accident, Now Facing Charges

A one-vehicle accident early this (Friday) morning in Daviess County has left a Gallatin man with minor injuries. According to the accident report From Troop H of the Highway Patrol, 23-year-old Gallatin resident Daniel E. Butts was driving a 2001 Dodge pick-up northbound on Missouri Route 190 one mile south of Jamesport at 1:58 A.M. when he lost control of the vehicle, going off the east side of the roadway where the truck overturned.

The Livingston County Health Center reports 11 COVID-19 cases have been added since June 9th, bringing the total to 1,885. The number of active cases dropped by seven to 115. The health center is conducting a survey regarding how Livingston County residents feel about COVID-19 vaccination. The 15-question survey is anonymous.
