They call it “The Streets of Willow Springs.” It’s a 1.3-miles asphalt snake; a miniature, 10-turn, simulated street course in the Mojave Desert, tucked into the foothills behind the main road course that is Willow Springs International Raceway. The Streets has a variety of tight corners, unsettling kinks, off-camber turns and esses, with just enough straight time in between each to allow a driver to throttle in a little extra excitement.

1 lane of Hwy. 58 reopens following big rigs' crash, fire near Tehachapi

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/FOX58) — UPDATE (3:45 p.m.) One lane on eastbound Highway 58 near Tehachapi has been reopened for traffic Thursday. Around 12:30 p.m. fire crews responded to a crash involving two big rigs on eastbound Highway 58, east of Broome Road. One big rig was loaded with wine, parked on the shoulder when it was hit by another big rig loaded with broccoli.

He attempted to purchase many luminous balls, but none were up to his standards. The biggest problems were the grip of the basketballs and the LED lights needing to be replaced constantly.

Trona boys baseball loses to Boron in CIF playoffs

The Trona High School baseball season came to an end May 17th, losing to Boron during the 1st round of the CIF playoffs. Final score 10-0, but beyond the score Trona's season was special. After starting 0-5 alot of teams might call it quits but not this team. These guys continued to believe in each other and went on to win 7 of the last 11 games including a must win game against Lee Vining to make the playoffs, winning 8-4.
