This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department reports. On the afternoon of June 23rd, Officers conducted a vehicle stop at the Dollar General store, 2003 South Limit Avenue. A search of the vehicle located methamphetamine, marijuana, and a used hypodermic needle. The driver, George R. Jodon, 50, of Meta Missouri, was arrested for Driving While Suspended, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Dangerous Drug. The passenger provided a false identity, which was later discovered at the Pettis County Jail. Her true identity showed to have to active warrants for her arrest for Probation Violation on original charges of felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Failure to Appear on original charges of Defective Equipment. Dianna S. Smith, 48, of Jefferson City, was arrested on the two warrants, Possession of a Dangerous Drug, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Identity Theft.

Charged with multiple drug-related felonies after a traffic stop on April 27, a 36-year-old Sedalia woman has a court proceeding scheduled. According to a probable-cause statement, Amanda Adams was pulled over, and a passenger consented to a personal search, but denied consent to a search of the vehicle. A Sedalia Police Department detective says he found a methamphetamine pipe on the passenger.

On Saturday, Sedalia Police took a theft report from Nathan Powers, who reported that his locked locker was entered on Thursday, and someone stole $60 and three credit cards from his wallet at the Heckart Community Center, 1800 W. 3rd. The credit cards were used to make purchases at the Center and online. There are no suspects.

This article is compiled from the Sedalia Police Department reports. Sunday morning, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle because its registration was expired. While speaking with the driver, Officers noticed the driver appeared to be impaired. After investigation, the driver as placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated (Drugs). Derek Scott Grimm, 39, of Sedalia, was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released to a sober person.

A Warrensburg man is facing a felony charge after authorities were summoned to the report of a confidential victim with severe injuries on June 23. According to a probable-cause statement, authorities arrived and observed the victim to have a deep laceration to their upper left arm that was still bleeding heavily. Officers also noticed bruising on the victim’s neck. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment and evaluation.
