De Soto approves $250,000 stormwater project
Stormwater drainage improvements are coming to Moulton Street in De Soto. The De Soto City Council voted unanimously June 20 to award a $250,351 contract to Kimes Contracting in Hillsboro to complete the stormwater control project along the stretch of Moulton Street from Flucom Road to East St. Louis Street.

Governor Signs Bill Honoring Farmington Soldiers
(Farmington) Friday was a special day in Jefferson City for State Representative Dale Wright of Farmington. His bill honoring the memory of two Farmington soldiers killed in the Vietnam War was officially signed by Governor Parson. Court Date for St. Louis Woman
(Desloge, MO) The woman from St. Louis, who is facing several charges after allegedly stealing a jeep and leading Desloge Police officers on a high speed chase, 30 year old Winona Gilliam, has an initial hearing court date of next Tuesday in St. Francois County. It's also reported an officer was injured and a police car received damage during the pursuit. According to reports Gilliam asked a woman to give her a ride Tuesday.
