Police respond to incident at Eau Claire motel

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - Multiple crews are responding to an incident at an Eau Claire motel. Police have surrounded the Regency Inn & Suites on South Hastings Way. Officers and EMS were first called to the Wisco’s Bar & Eatery just after 10 p.m. Tuesday night, where our photographer at the scene saw at least one person being taken away by ambulance.

EC couple jailed for exposing their two babies to meth

EAU CLAIRE — An Eau Claire couple will each spend three years on probation for exposing their two babies, ages 4 months and 22 months, to methamphetamine. Danny E. Davis, 40, and Alexis S. Wall, 28, both of 2025 E. Hamilton Ave., each pleaded guilty recently in Eau Claire County Court to a felony count of neglecting a child. A second count of the same charge was dismissed but considered at sentencing by Judge Michael Schumacher.
