High speed chase through Caddo Parish ends in crash, at least 1 hurt

CADDO PARISH, La. (KSLA) - A high speed chase through Caddo Parish ended in a crash Wednesday, June 16. The chase started at Kyle’s Quick Stop at Loop 259 in Longview around 11:15 a.m. when Harrison County deputies called Caddo Parish to let them know about a pursuit that had crossed state lines. Deputies were in pursuit of a stolen Volkswagen Jetta. In Caddo Parish, the driver was on I-20 E driving over 100 mph, then got off at Bert Kouns and kept turning in an attempt to get away from officers.

High Speed Chase Leads to Manhunt in Shreveport

At 2:00 a.m. Wednesday morning Louisiana State Troopers were involved in a high-speed chase. The chase was on I-220 and troopers were in pursuit of a man on motorcycle. As the chase neared the I-20 Westbound ramp, the motorcyclist crashed in to the median and fled the scene on foot.
