Man falls asleep en route to work, crashes into restaurant

(FOX 9) - No one was seriously injured after a man fell asleep behind the wheel of his car, then crashed into a restaurant on his way to work Wednesday morning. At about 6:49 a.m., the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and other agencies responded to a report of a vehicle crash at the Island Lake Inn after it was reported that a vehicle had left the roadway and went through the building.

Georgia O’Keeffe: A Hand’s On Workshop

COOK — One of the most significant artists of the 20th century, renowned for her contribution to modern art, Georgia Totto O’Keeffe was born in Sun Prairie Wisconsin. On July 15th from 1 to 3 p.m. Northwood’s Friends of the Arts invites you to participate in a mini workshop with Ely artist Cecilia Rolando. Participants will learn about well-known artist Georgia O’Keeffe, her life and art, and then do a ‘hands on’ piece while reflecting on her painting and interest in flowers. This is a free Curious and Creative Class for ages 8 to 85. To register stop at the NWFA Gallery from 10 to 4 on Wed., Thurs. or Fri. and from 9 to 1 on Sat.
