PALERMO, Calif. — UPDATE, JUNE 24, 6:50 PM:. All evacuation orders and warnings have been removed for the Baldwin Fire in Palermo. The BCSO said the Evacuation Order for Occidental Avenue and N Villa Avenue have been removed, as well as the Evacuation Warnings for residents living in Zone 872: east of Gene Lane east to the railroad tracks, and from the north end of Wyman Avenue south to Palermo Road.

Camp Fire to be adapted for film by Jamie Lee Curtis

The bravery of Paradise residents amidst the destructive Camp Fire is coming to the big screen with the help of Jamie Lee Curtis. Deadline reports that Lizzie Johnson's book, "Paradise: One Town’s Struggle to Survive an American Wildfire" is going to be adapted into a feature film through Hollywood star Jamie Lee Curtis' production company, Comet Pictures. She will also be teaming with Blumhouse Pictures to develop the story.

Fire Crews Battle Vegetation Fire In Palermo

PALERMO (CBS13) — Firefighters are at the scene of a vegetation fire in Palermo that is approximately 1 acre, said Cal Fire. The 1-acre fire is spreading at a moderate rate and crews are making good progress fighting it as of Friday afternoon. There is currently a line around the blaze, but there is spotting potential.
