Could a missing mother be Preble County’s Jane Doe?

On May 25, 1968, children playing behind their house in Eaton found a skull and other human remains in a water-filled ditch. The remains were buried in a cemetery, but were never identified. Investigators believe the Jane Doe may be a mother who when missing in 1945 from Shelby, Ohio.

MANSFIELD ─ After two years of waiting, the Buckeye state welcomed its newest Miss Ohio on Saturday night ─ Lora Current. Current, 20, will represent Ohio at the Miss America Competition later this year. The first runner-up of 2021 Miss Ohio was Miss Miami Valley Mackenzie Rian Perry. Variety of musical acts will take the stage during Ashland BalloonFest

Music lovers can enjoy a variety of musical acts taking to the Main Stage at Freer Field during BalloonFest, June 24 through June 26. Each night of BalloonFest will feature a different musical act. 2018 Champaign County Fair queen wins Miss Ohio pageant

MANSFIELD – Lora Current, who served as 2018 Champaign County Fair Queen, won the Miss Ohio 2021 title during a pageant on Saturday evening. Current will advance to compete for the Miss America 2022 crown during the national pageant in Connecticut in December. A 2021 title was not given due to the pandemic disrupting the pageant process.

Mansfield gas price survey: Cheapest station saves $0.21 per gallon

(MANSFIELD, OH) Gas prices vary across in the Mansfield area, but if you’re willing to head for the cheapest station, you could be saving up to $0.21 per gallon. Sam's Club at 1070 N Lexington Springmill Rd was the cheapest station in the area, according to a survey by GasBuddy, with regular listed at $2.94 per gallon Wednesday. By comparison, the most expensive gallon was at Shell at 77 S Diamond Ave, where a gallon of regular was selling for $3.15.
