Nebraska has lost a prized member of the offensive line as Nouredin Nouili announced on twitter he is suspended for the 2022 season due to a failed drug test. Nouili was counted on as a starter as in 2022 at guard. He started the last games of the 2021 season. He will lose a year of eligibility. Crews respond to train derailment outside of Beatrice

BEATRICE, Neb. (NCN) - A train derailment in central Gage County yielded responses from area law enforcement. Just before 1:00 PM members of the Gage County Sheriff’s Office, Gage County Emergency Management, and Gage County Highway Department all responded were notified about a train derailment in the Hoag area. The incident occurred near Southwest 75th and Hickory Road, behind the industrial area on 89th.

OMAHA, Neb. (KMTV) — A Husker lineman announced on Saturday that they are ineligible for the 2022 football season due to a failed drug test. "This spring I was informed by the NCAA that due to a failed drug test I am ineligible for the 2022 season. I'd like to apologize to my family, teammates, coaches and Husker fans for my error in judgment. It is an honor to be a part of this football program and represent this University and I do not take that responsibility lightly.
