Eight People Shot Outside Music Event in Tacoma

Tacoma police were searching for who shot eight people outside a music event early Sunday morning. All eight individuals — male and female, between 17 and 22 years old — were in stable condition. Wendy Haddow, a spokesperson for the Tacoma Police Department, said that detectives do not yet know if there was one or more shooters and do not have anyone in custody.

Nobody knew that when Mariners’ outfielder Jesse Winker was hit with a pitch on Sunday afternoon it would result in a huge break for one Doordash driver in Anaheim. Winker was struck at the top of the second inning. It was the second inning in a row a Mariners’ batter was pitched at, the first coming when Julio Rodriguez was almost hit in the first inning when a pitch went behind his head. After Winker was hit he rushed the Angels’ dugout, and the bench-clearing brawl resulted in Winker, along with numerous other players getting ejected. Mariners fans were thrilled Winkler stood up for the team, but one fan wanted to say thank you directly.

Costco Faces Animal Welfare Lawsuit Over Their $4.99 Rotisserie Chicken

Costco is the subject of an animal neglect lawsuit over their contracted poultry farms, which are used for the big box stores' popular $4.99 rotisseries chickens. In the legal complaint, which was filed this month in Seattle, Costco shareholders Krystil Smith and Tyler Lobdell allege that an unnamed barn, one of hundreds contracted in Nebraska and Iowa, is responsible for breaking animal welfare laws in the states.

Driver abandoned $250,000 McLaren sports car on side of road after accident, police say

(NEXSTAR) – A driver in Washington state fled the scene of an accident after getting an expensive McLaren 600LT sports car wedged underneath a guard rail earlier this week.
