Manufacturing jobs announcements in Mississippi County are becoming commonplace. Sierra Group Roofing and Solar announced Wednesday (May 25) it’s expanding into metal manufacturing specializing in standing seam, R-panel, gutters, and metal roofing accessories made with galvanized steel and galvalume. The expansion will include an investment of $1.6 million for a new 11,000 square foot headquarters in Blytheville and will create 40 full time jobs locally.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Montgomery Central baseball faced Covington High on Tuesday. The Indians came up short of a comeback in the first round of the state tournament. They lost by a score of 1-3. Aidan Karns took the mound for Montgomery Central, and the pitcher faced adversity to open up the first couple of innings.
