Authorities said a missing 73-year-old man that triggered a Critically Missing Adult Alert in Virginia has been located.

The Virginia Department of Transportation has released road closures for the week of July 3 and 9, including for I-95 southbound and northbound. VDOT will suspend many highway work zones and lane closures on major roads and interstates through noon Tuesday, July 5.

Fredericksburg’s City Council approved a resolution to start a pilot program charging non-residents of Fredericksburg and Stafford County a fee to enter Old Mill Park. Beginning July 22, non-residents will pay $10 for vehicle parking and $5 for walk-in entry to the park seven days a week. From September 5 to October 30, the charge will only be applied on weekends.

RICHMOND, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority is extending the hours at more than two dozen of its stores, including one in Orange. According to a release, the closing hour has been moved from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 31 stores that are open Monday through Saturday.

As the cost for food continues to hit families across Virginia, several libraries across the state are offering free food. At least two libraries have food pantries, one in Pearisburg, in Giles County, and another in Chesapeake, in the Hampton Roads region. A library in Fredericksburg has a community garden, managed by librarian staff and volunteers for donations to a local food bank.
