Early morning car crash in Abilene ends in fatality

ABILENE, Texas — Abilene police are investigating the details concerning a fatal crash that occurred this morning in Abilene. According to police, at approximately 5:39am, a 2012 Ford Escape was traveling North on Grape Street, and a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix was traveling west on North 15th Street when the vehicles crashed.

According to a release from the APD, an SUV traveling northbound with a single occupant on Grape, when it collided with the side of a car, with two occupants, traveling westbound on North 15.
