William Wooddell was named as the new Assistant Superintendent for the Salida School District and is scheduled to begin work in his new role on July 1, 2022. Wooddell, as the assistant superintendent, will be responsible for coordinating human resources and hiring, will oversee all district department managers, guide special education, gifted and talented education, assessment and testing, and district safety and security. The District will immediately begin a search for a principal for SMS for the ’22-’23 school year.
