Health department offering COVID vaccines to walk-ins

The St. Joseph Health Department is looking to boost Buchanan County’s COVID-19 vaccination rate by finding new ways to make the vaccine accessible. Buchanan is in the bottom portion of counties in Missouri when it comes to its COVID-19 vaccination rate. Only 20.9% of eligible residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine, while the state overall is at 44.4%.
