JWoww Opens Totally Adorable Store in New Jersey, Offers Shoppers Chance to be Internet-Famous

Gym, faux tan, and less laundry if you're shopping for new clothes at JWoww's new boutique. New Jersey area shoppers are in for a treat, because Jenni 'JWoww' Farley, everyone's favorite no-B.S., tell-it-like-it-is mom from MTV's hit series Jersey Shore, recently opened her very own fashion boutique called Heavenly Flower. The boutique, which is a riff on her daughter Meilani's name, still has that new car smell thanks to only having opened a few weeks ago (you can see more about that in this video). It's conveniently located inside the popular American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and offers a variety of parent-and-kid fashion picks, accessories, and adorable shopping moments.

Nursing shortage critical for rural Missourians, MU study finds

The nursing shortage affects rural Missourians more according to a new university. It's no secret that the United States faces a nationwide nursing shortage, and a recent study at the University of Missouri found rural Missouri counties experience nursing shortages at a greater rate than the state’s metropolitan counties— and certainly worse than national averages. In addition, the study found rural Missouri counties have a higher percentage of older nurses nearing retirement, which could have a severe impact on the future of the state’s nursing workforce and long-term healthcare infrastructure.

Popular Phoenix, AZ doc says this hot dog topping may help you lose weight (hint: skip the relish)

Before you load your next burger or hot dog up with ketchup, relish, mayo, or other typical cookout condiments, you should probably give that yellow stuff a second look. Why? It's not just a tangy, salty topping for popular dishes— it has real virtues. In fact, the health benefits of mustard outweigh most other popular BBQ-season condiments like mayo, relish, and ketchup.

Mustard Pizza is Taking Over New York— would you eat it?

This ain't your momma's pizza, friends. Most people think of the classic tomato sauce, cheese, and pizza dough combination when they think of pizza, but one New York City pizzeria is shaking up the entire notion— and the internet is divided. Mustard pizza has taken over New York City, the world's pizza capital (you can argue that in the comments section should you feel inclined, but anyone with a handful of marbles upstairs knows this to be true).

A Look Inside Source Adage, The Hudson Valley's Most Magical Fragrance Boutique

It's a journey for the senses and a decidedly upscale answer to the region's more typical mall store fragrance offerings. If there's one thing Hudson, New York is known for, it's attracting a bevy of creative types seeking refuge from the big city chaos about two hours to its south by car. Christopher Draghi and Robert Dobay were lured up by Hudson's charm in 2015, when they decided to launch their luxury American fragrance house, source adage fragrances, in a string 1830s Greek revival building in what is now a bustling little getaway city in New York's always-charming Hudson Valley.

Genius Kitchen Cleaning Hacks Straight from Top Chefs, Organizers, & More

Forget the mess with these hacks. Here's a startling, but maybe unsurprising fact: women do the bulk of household chores and cleaning even if they work just as many hours outside the home (or more) than their male counterparts. The same Pew research also showed that married and cohabiting men (49%) were more likely than their female counterparts (39%) to say they were very satisfied with the way household chores are divided between them and their spouse or partner. That gap has perhaps even more unsurprisingly grown in 2020. As of last October, 55% of men say they are very satisfied with this aspect of their relationship, compared with 38% of women.

This is what $2,700 a month gets you in Brooklyn right now

Real estate prices have changed dramatically since the pandemic hit, but not everywhere. It's no secret that real estate values have plummeted across some of New York City's most desirable neighborhoods since the COVID-19 pandemic hit, but that doesn't mean they became affordable by any stretch. We tracked listings across Brooklyn's trendy Williamsburg neighborhood and found a 17 percent price decline since the same time last year. This comes in stark contrast to real estate values and prices skyrocketing across the rest of the nation and region (some of the nearby Hudson Valley's real estate prices rose well over 20 percent since the pandemic's start), but the depreciating prices haven't been enough to deem the city 'affordable' just yet, and it's irking locals.
